This article is about the basics of the reform 'No Child Left Behind'. It explains the main goals and acheiments of this reform. No child left behind has some specific goals they would like to set, such as, by 2013-14 schools year, they strive to have students obtain reading proficiency by the end of the 3rd grade. Another would be for student to reach math and reading proficiency within a 12 year period of time. The bill for No Child Left Behind was signed in the year 2002.
